Our Story
50 Years of Home Service Experience
My father founded Action Painting in the 1970s, starting our family’s journey in home services. A licensed builder, he passed his trade and work ethic down to all three of his sons.
Today, my brothers own The Exterior Painters, Richters Beautification, and Ackerman Seamless Gutters, while I own Roofing Army. Home services are in our blood. We were raised to work hard, take pride in our craft, and earn everything.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Roofing Company
- How soon can you start?
- While we can’t give a standard answer on exact roofing timelines, generally, we can install a roof within 1-2 weeks. Most roofing projects require a building permit, which we handle for you, including any inspections. We make the process as stress-free as possible. Permit costs vary by location, but we’ll clearly communicate any additional fees upfront.
- Do you offer financing?
- We do. We partner with Service Finance to offer affordable financing rates, flexible payment plans and fast approvals for your roofing & gutter projects.
- What kind of warranty do you provide?
- Different shingle brands offer different manufacturer warranties, usually anywhere from 10 to 50 years. Some call their warranty “Lifetime Limited,” but most of the real coverage happens between years 10 and 50. For our workmanship and labor, we offer warranties that also range from 10 to 50 years, depending on the roofing system you choose. We also have optional extended warranties you can buy, all of our warranties can be transferred to the next homeowner if you ever sell your house.
- Are roof inspections free?
- Roof replacement inspections and estimates are completely free. You only pay if you choose to move forward with Roofing Army. Roof repair inspections include a small service call fee, which is applied toward the cost of the repair if you proceed with service.
- How do I know if I should repair or replace?
- It depends on a few things, like how bad the damage is and how old your roof is. If your roof is more than 15 years old, it might make more sense to save that repair money and put it toward a full replacement, since most asphalt roofs only last about 20 to 25 years. If your roof is newer than 15 years, we will inspect it to see how serious the problem is and decide if a repair is the right choice.
- Will you check my ventilation?
- Yes, and we think this is extremely important. Many people do not realize how big of a role attic ventilation plays because it is basically the lungs of your roof. During every inspection, we check and measure your attic to make sure the airflow is correct, because a roof can only perform as well as the ventilation beneath it.
